Web Application Designer Opening Error

Hello Experts,

I can open the WAD. After that if I try to open any of the web reports I get this error.

'Internal Error: No template property standard item'

Any suggestions appreciated.

hi..

once you open the WAD allow it to load all the web items ..once you see all the web items then you will not get this error..

Hi BWer,

You can try the following.

in the Temp folder (%temp%) is folder bw. rename or delete this folder. in the %temp% folder are also files which begin with SAPBWWebApplicationDesigner. delete these files too.

then restart the WAD. Then it should normally.

if not you can press the new button in the toolbar, which also forces the WAD to initialize

Thanks for the valuable suggetions guys..

Actually these are the steps I followed

1) menu bar > web template > reset properties

2) menu bar > tools > settings > delete cache

now its fine..

Hi BWer,

Before you try to open any query or report in WAD, you should select a template (i.e. table, chart, graph etc.)

Hope this is what you are looking for.
