How to hangle machine and tools service when sent out of factory.

Hi ,

My client is sending machines and tools outside factory for repairing and servicing, and paying the service charge. Now I need to map this processes in to sap. Please can you advise me how to map the process step by step in to sap.

2 options you can follow,

1st-You can use directly use 541 Mvt. & send the tools to repair & get back by 542 Mvt. & pay directly the charges through FI,

2nd- You can map through PO Subcontracting PO having header & BOM components as same & follow the normal Subcontracting Process.

1 Ctreate a service master and Mape the process

2 Create a issue the goods from 144

there is another way around to opt for subcontract process. please refer step by step process to map

1.Create the finished goods material code.

2.Create PO with item category as "L" .

3.Issue material to vendor with movement type 541

4.Receive the material against the PO with movement type 101.

5 vendor will send his invoice for his service charges
