BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.0 - JDBC connection

Hi All,

I m new in BI 04 on Linux. Can you please explain me how can I connect MS SQL DB via JDBC? Are the jdbc drivers installed default or not? Have someone normaln easy guide how can I set up JDBC connection? I saw all SAP manual, but i m still confused.
