Hi Vikram
1. In Rule TO01, you define after how many hours overtime will be calculated.
Suppose you give 9 am to 8 pm and in TO01 you maintain like after 8 hrs overtime will be calculated. System calulates 5pm to 8 pm as overtime.
2. Maintain V_T510S view, to assign overtime Wagetype.
Overtime 5 pm to 8 pm will be sent to this table and pick correct overtime wagetype.
While running payroll, That overtime wagetype will be compensated.
Hope this help.
Pradeep.
You can configure OT in many ways, like use of IT-2005, 2010, and also through 2007. Please clarify as to how is your business process as to help you further.

Hi,
You can configure OT either in IT 2005 or in IT 2010 but best is to go with IT 2010 and once you done with all backend config fo to table v_512w_b and give the rate% as howmuch you want to pay per hour.
Thanks

make clear your requirement how you want to process your OT like will you get approved OT hours from any dept or HOD to be processed in sap system and then calculate the payout for the same.
or you will have to calculate your OT hours from employee time recordings.
