Hi Experts!
I am working with KEFC for the first time. In the past we have used Excel upload KE13N but we are looking for better performance - process larger files.
I have my structure built and transfer rules. I am importing using the test editor and getting a green light status. I would assume this means plan records have been written but i do not see them using KE25.
Am i wrong with assumption green status means posted? Does this just mean format is correct but there is something else wrong.
Any help is much appreciated!!
Kim
Hi Kim,
Please check if you have followed the below steps while working with KEFC -
1: Create the required characteristics and value fields
2: Add the required characteristics and value fields to the data structure of the operating concern
3. Create the sender structure
4: Map the sender structure to the receiver structure
5: Create the excel sheet containing data for upload
6: Convert excel sheet to txt file
7: Upload data into COPA R/3 (KEFC)
If you have followed all the steps and still you are not able to view the data in KEPM or KE25 then please provide some more details regarding the steps you have taken.
Regards,
Abhisek

Hello Abhisek - thank you so much for your reply!
I have now already successfully written some records to plan data. My file needed a qty in order to create a plan line - it seems that was the missing piece.
Now my issue is that i cannot get a "change" plan entry - it only keeps adding the value in the file over and over.
When we use KE13N flexible excel upload - it takes the latest load file and updates the plan to match new qty. (creates a plan line for the delta plus or minus qty).
I would think KEFC would do the same thing instead of continuing to add.
Maybe I have missed a setting for this somewhere.
Do you have any information on this issue?
Thanks again,
Kim
