Hi,

i´ve got a transport request containing a ztable and a maintenance view.

This table has no records because i´ve deleted all of them.

When i try yo release the task i get the following messages:

1st message

Object checks:
Key messages: Enter numeric values only.
Message no. TK455.
Diagnosis
The value ' ' was entered in field "ZEILE".
This is not possible because it is a numeric field where only numbers maybe entered.
The length of this field is 000004.
System response
The entry was not accepted.
Procedure
Enter only numeric values in this field

2nd message

Note: ZSTOCKLITOGRAF is an application table
Message no. TK981
Diagnosis
You want to transport the contents of a table of the delivery class A.
A table of the delivery class A contains master data or transaction data.
It does not usually make sense to transport this data.
Procedure
Check wether transporting this data into another businnes environment may cause inconsistencies. This cannot be checked automatically.

So, what does all this mean and what do i have to do in order to have my order released?

Best regards.

Hi Calsadillo,

1.

For the first message, this means that you are trying to transport the table contents of your Z table. You have a field ZEILE which in the key values of the table contents entry R3TR TABU ... there is a blank. As this field is a numeric field it cannot accept a blank.

As you have deleted the table entries anyway, then you do not need to transport table contents. You should delete the R3TR TABU entry (in your transport task) which corresponds to the ztable.

2.

The second entry means that your ZSTOCKLITOGRAF table has been marked as an application table in the table attributes in SE11. Normally for application tables the data in the table is entered directly in the actual client (in test, or production systems) rather than being transported from the development system. This is just a warning and will not prevent you releasing your task.

So, the same applies as for 1. As you do not wish to transport table entries, you should delete the R3TR TABU entry from your task.

Once you have deleted this entry, you will be able to release the task.

Hope that helps.

Brad

Actually,

As you have a maintenance view, in fact you will need to delete the R3TR VDAT entry, not R3TR TABU.

Cheers,

Brad

Hi Pablo,

I think the 1st one is an error msg and the 2nd one just a warning.

For the first one: are you sure you have deleted all entries? Pls go to tx SE16, enter the table name and press button "Number of entries". I'm afraid you left an entry with blank contents (?)

I hope it helps. BR,

Alvaro
