Hello Community,
Could someone please tell me for what the cookie: com.sap.engine.security.authentication.original_application_url is needed.
We're currently facing some problems, where our clients lose their MYSAPSSO2-Ticket.
Best Regards,
Matthias
Hi,
SSO cookie user logon is a minimum security measure, at a minimal administration and configuration cost. For this SSO scenario, however, you need to synchronize the SAP system usersu2019 password in every accessed SAP system.
SSO authentication for users can use the following options for storing the SSO information:
● Use a SSO cookie (MYSAPSSO) containing an ITS authentication token
● Use a SSO2 cookie (MYSAPSSO2) containing a logon ticket
If you change from SSO to SSO2 cookie user logon (MYSAPSSO2), we recommend that you disable SSO cookie user logon (MYSAPSSO) to prevent several authentication tokens being sent simultaneously when accessing SAP systems.
Award points if useful.
Thanks,
Ravi
