Hello All,
I'm a little lost in here...
I've created a VirtualCube based on DTP with direct access. I've created the DTP with support for direct access, created the transformation and the DPT, activated the direct access and everything went fine.
I can successfully see the data with the listcube or on the query, but everytime I try to use the listcube or the query the system always asks my credentials on the source system (R/3) where the datasource was created.
I was wondering if it is possible to bypass this credentials scree, i.e., using listcube or query and the data be extracted on the fly without any logon screen to the user.
Is this possible? If so, how?
Thanks to all,
Diogo Ferreira.
Hi Diogo
Check two things.
1. If the user id being used in SM59 ( RFC Connection from BW to ECC ) can be changed to type B ( System) or S( Service)
2.Under "Logon Security" tab of SM59, checking Current User box
