Error while Creatinng New GL Accounts by FS00

HI,

In New Client, While Creating GL Accounts by FS00, Following Error message Showing :

Account 1010020 has already been created in company code 2000

Message no. FH006

Please Suggest, In company 2000 there is no GL Accounts are existing.

Just check whether this GL has been created in FSP0 - Chart of Accounts level.

and see

if you have copied from the existing company code then definitely there is a chance that GL also created.

I have checked FSP0- Not Existing in Chart of Account

i have checked table even for Chart of Account

The GL Account 1010020 is already created in Other company code, Due to Different Chart of Account of we have create 1010020 for Company code 2000, So while FS00 showing above message :

Account 1010020 has already been created in company code 2000

Hi,

Go to T.code : OBR2 Select delete G/l Account Check Box and Give That g/l account and select With general master data check box and give company code and remove the test run check box and Execute (F8) and Go to FS00 and create G/l account

Thanks problem solved by your suggestion in Log Showing Entries in Table SKB1

But What could be the reason.... why entries are creating in Table SKB1 for company code. Even we have not yet created a single account.

Any copy configuration issue ?

Hi,

In case of configuring copying a company code or coping a configuration ,which leads to copy G/l accounts in the background

There could be several reasons. For example, when you copy compane code, you are asked if G/L accounts are to be copied as well. Or the accounts could have been passed in a separate transport which included SKB1 table.

Yes Correct, While Create new Company code by copy existing one say 5000, System Ask do "Do you want to copy the G/L account company data?" If I Choose yes then the Entries Created in Table SKB1 and Have to face this error.

So will be better to Choose No.... Never...........

in FS00

enter the GL account and Company Code and click on the "display" button from the screen

and see

if you have copied from the existing company code then definitely there is a chance that GL also created.
