Hi All,
I have had to load an income value into a line item DSO from a bespoke table through a routine. It has updated the value to all records which match the condition. So essentially the problem is as below.
For one Header No there are multiple line item nos which are updated with the income value i.e. multiple records have the same values added and the total value is multiple of the line item records.
If income value is £100 & the line item records are 10 the income value is displayed as £1000 when it should be £100.
I have tried using Average in Bex calculation tab but does not work. Is there a way to select distinct value.
I have seen a few post which are complex to my issue so this question.
Appreciate all posts.
Kind Regards
James
Hi,
You can make use of exception aggregation at bex level to get the distinct value based on a reference characteristic on which you are getting unique combination of values.
Please paste the report output for more understanding on the same.
I think in your case reference characteristic can be line item
Kindly refer the below paper for exception aggregation.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
AL
