Cant copy TEVEN values

Former Member

Dear all:

Im testing TDMS and in the first HCM transfer it didnt copy any entry from table TEVEN... I then add it manually in the activity "define tables for customer tables..." and then I could transfer them ok, but the problem is that the field PERNR is not getting converted for the new pernr number...I read a post here that says that I should add the scrambling rules "Internal use" but then it sends a error message: "syntax error in customer code rule" !!!

Any idea or help will be greatly appreciated!

Hello ,

To transfer TEVEN you do not need to add it into the Customer tables.

Please follow the below steps

1. Execute activity Transfer selection criteria

2. In the tab ' PA Selection' select button ' SAP: International tables'

3. A pop up will appear , select 'Time events' checkbox.

You do NOT have to select the ' Internal USE ' type for the scrambling , this was before SP07 for TDMSHCM .

IF you are on later SP's than SP07 , the program will handle the scrambling.

Thanks,

Thank you very much Poonam!! The only problem now is that TEVEN table does respond to the PA cutt off date, even though the F1 help for that field states that it will work on TEVEN... any idea?

Best regards

Hi ,

You can set the switch USE_BEGDA_TEVEN to 'X' in the activity ' Set Switches '.

If you cannot see the switch in the F4 help for the activity , in that case you will have to maintain the values in the underlying view

V_CNVHCM_VAL_SW.

Once this is done the Partial cut off date should be taken into consideration for table TEVEN.

Thanks,

Poonam

Tried it but didnt work, actually it end up not bringing any entrie at all... I dont think that TEVEN will work with the switches, as this table does not have the classig begda endda, besides there must be an underlying programming which should also be updated (I guess)
