Asset balance carry forwarded to fiscal year 2012 and depreciation not calc

In March 2011, I have transfer the assets from lagacy to SAP for Particular Asset class(say asset class:furniture). My company fiscal year is K4. I have run the depreication from march 2011 to Dec 2011 on Dec 2011. till the Dec 2011 all asset showing the balance. i have opened the new fiscal year 2012. The assest balances are carry forward to 2012 except the particular asset class.Becuase of this , i am not able to see the depreication for this particular asset.Kindly help me -how to carry forward the 2011 balances t0 2012 for the particular assests and how to rerun the depreciation
