Number of activities in PM/ Quality Notification

Hi

I would like to know if there is any limitatation on number of activities in a PM/ Quality notificaiton?

I am planning to have around 5000 activities in single notification wherein I shall be extending the notification table to include some custom fields as well. Has anybody worked on such scenario and observed any issues including performance issues.

Any suggestion/ contribution will be highly appreciated.
