Firming indicator is not geeting assigned in the partially converted PR

Hi experts,

Firming indicator is not geeting assigned in the partially converted PR in MD04 screen. I checked the Fixed ID mark also in the PR, it also is not marked.

But if changed the delivery date or quantity in the PR manually, it is working fine. In the same way if I converted planned order to purchase requisition (partially), it is working fine.

Materail type : ROH,

MRP type : PD

Rollforward Indicator is 1 (Delete firm planned order).

Release strategy activated for PR.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

It was said in the SAP documentation that the purchase requisition is 'firm' in views of MRP running if at least one of the criteria was satisfied -

1) The 'Fixed' indicator of the PR line item was manually flagged;

2) The PR Line Item has had the follow-on documents (such as Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Purchase Order); or

3) The PR is subject to Release Strategy for which The 'Fixed for MRP' indicator of the 'Block' and/or 'Released' Release Indicator is ticked.

Given your brief explanation, I would say that this PR is actually firmed as far as MRP running is concerned.

Hi Subbu,

Yes, you are right, As per that If we converted the PR into PO (partially) then system has to set the firmed indicator. But it is not happening in my case.
