How to modify standard WebDynpro? (MSS - ESS Packages)

Hi all,

Is it possible to <b>modify a standard scenario</b> implemented with <b>WebDynpro</b> technique?

Topic: in the functionality of Leave Request from ESS package, can I (and how) add a field, for example, in one of the "pages"? Can I (and how) <b>import in the Sap Netweaver Developer Studio a standard project WebDynpro</b> and modify this?

we know how can change WD standard througu NWDS

on setting JDI environment.

Nope, it's not possible according to my understanding because SAP hasn't (yet?) published the source code for the WD applications.

Thanks Mikko but,

theorically, it's possible to keep the .par file from ESS package and decompile this to catch the code.

I would like to know if there is a "more standard way" to modify the standard functionality implemented with WD!!

Someone can suggest something?
