Hi pankaj

You might be using view profile STANDARD for normal equipment master data & to this profile H2 screen group equipment data must be assigned.(SPRO>PM&CS>Master data>Technical object>general dat-->Set View Profiles for Technical Objects)

Here also again you assign screen group H4 for flleet object to the same view profile STANDARD in the next line. Then assign tab 130 & 140 & corresponding seq. no 200, 210 ,215,220, 225 etc

Then under setting for fleet management do the customisation as follows

Assign View Profile and Equipment Categories to Fleet Object Types

Here assign the view profile STANDARD to all vehicle type (object type)

In SPRO you go to the Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Master data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Technical Objects > General Data >Set View Profiles for Technical Objects

On this table you need to choose new entry > From the drop down list choose the screen group for Fleet Object > type in the name of the profile you want to create and a discription use enter to accept the entry then highlight this entry and using the menu at the side go to the Activities and layout views >Choose new entries again this will give you a new screen. On this screen you have 2 options for fleet objects choose the one you want and tick the tab active tick box then on the following SEQ no boxes from the drop down lists choose the sub screens that you need. when competed you can do the same for the other main screen for fleet objects

Hope this helps.

Jim

You will also need to go to the fleet object config and complete the Assign view profiles and equipment categories to fleet object types.

If my screen group is for equipment instead of fleet object, how do I assign view profile to that technical object?

Hi,

For setting the view profile for Fleet objects follow the following steps:

1) Under screen group for fleet object data configure a profile with name say"FLEETEQP". then assign screen no-130 and 140 under Activity and layout views on the left.

130 Vehicle ID/Measmnts

140 Vehicle Technology

2) Assign the view profile name to the respective Equipment Category for fleets

3) You can also configure additional business views for equipment categories for Serial data, etc

Now you may create Fleet equipment through IE31. The standard equipment tabs along with Vehicle specific tabs will be visible.
