Hello,
This is more of a question regarding correct use of terminology. I have heard people referring to APD as Application Process Designer some times, and at other times as Analysis Process Designer. Is it correct to use these two terms interchangeably?

I do not think it is Application ... The function of APD is to help in analysis and so the name is

Its Analysis Process Designer. If you execute the TCode RSANWB you willl be taken to the APD Modelling Workbench. There also you can check the header.

we can say Analysis Process Designer (APD) not as Application process designer. since we analyse the data we called it as
