STO delivery appears at MD04 after Goods Issue

1. In STO outbound delivery, after batch split, 2 line items gets created. The main item (i.e. line item 10) with "0" quantity and batch split item (i.e. line item 900001) with "actual quantity" to be delivered.

2. When we do the goods issue for STO outbound delivery then status of VBUK and VBUP table gets updated as completely delivered. This should ideally remove this STO outbound delivery from MD04 screen.

3. But, in our case only batch split item (i.e. line item 900001) gets removed from MD04 screen. Whereas, main item (i.e. line item 10) still appears at MD04 screen.

4. After further analysis, we found that, main item (i.e. line item 10) is not getting removed from the VBBE table. And therefore, the entry still persists in MD04 screen.

As a workaround, we are executing the report SDRQCR21 and clearing the MD04 entries. But, we need to know the exact reason of this issue and further corrective action.

Dear All,

We have found an issue. The issue was with customized batch split. Because of this, when we were creating delivery against STO PO, then requirements for main line item (i.e. 010) getting saved to VBBE table. This was resulting into the non-removal of requirements from MD04.

Ideally, requirement for batch split line item (i.e. 900001) should get saved to VBBE table.

As a resolution, we have scheduled background job with report SDRQCR21.
