EHP5 equivalent support packs

Hi

In my landscape im planning to upgrade to ehp5. Just i wanted to know is it ok if i upgrade to current highest package level for all components. Some where i have seen a note which shows equivalent support packs list for ehp5. I have gone through 1064635 but could not help me.

If my support package level is

SAP_HR - 600 - SAPKE60078 - Human Resources, how can i increase release level 600 in same component like 604 or 605

*Use EHPI tool to upgrade SAP_HR and other components to 604, SAp-HR shows 604 even for EHP5 .

    Refer to below links

    https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000293582009E.PDF

http://service.sap.com/HRSP and click SCHEDULE -- You will find the HR_SP support packs equivalent for EHP4 and EHP5

    Hi,

Refer "Note 1484460 - EHP5 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP Stacks - Release & Information Note"

    which states:

    SP Equivalence Levels

    EhP5 SPS07 -- EhP4 SPS10 -- EhP3 SPS09 -- EhP2 SPS10 -- SAP ERP 6.0 SPS20

    Regards,

    Hi Mahi,

For your source release check the exuivalence level in the target release. Equivalence level means, you can upgrade upto or more than the equivalence release. If your 600 HR is at 78, upgrade to the equivalence or more, but not lesser than the equivalence level.

So, you can go upto the latest support package in your target release (provided it is more than the mentioned equivalence)

    Regards,

    Sriram
