Deletion of Init Request in PSA

Hi Experts,

i did an init run through the LO-Cockpit (..13_VDITM )

after that we had to build the setup table new...

and now i have the situation that i can't delete the first init request.

What i made until now is :

1. delete the request in the target ( which is an ODS )

---> the same request is still under reconstruction displayed.

2. trying to delete the this request from the PSA.

But after refreshing the PSA Tree, the already deleted request comes up again. Why ?

Hi Ali,

if in your init load there is a big amount of data...you have simply to wait in order to see your deletion job finished !

Take a look to SM50 transaction to see if something is still running...

this we checked also.. there is no delete process ongoing.. How can i get rid of that request in BW (PSA)...

Hi,

as additional information is to consider that as soon

as we connect any BW - Object to this Infosource where the Request comes from, we get this initial Request started in this Object without triggering such an action.

Ali,

check if, after running the deletion, you have some dump in ST22...and, in the meanwhile, look directly in PSA table (in SE16) if there is still some data from your init load !

Hi Roberto,

thanks for your help.

i found out that the request which shoulb be deleted ( and is not ) comes from an InfoPackage which does not exist anymore.. Maybe thats the point...

What can i do to get it deleted anyway ?

Hi Roberto,

i checked the two points you mentioned.

1. In the transaction ST22 are no logs related to my issue.

2. I checked the technical name of the psa table in the table RSTSODS ( /BIC/B0000296000 ) this table is also empty.
