Hi, COBL is a interface structure for different modules. And bseg is FI table.

    • Hi Eli

I have a requirement to update com cobl fiels (i think).

When posting incoming payments in F-28 we want to post a cash discount to an account that requires the user to fill profit segment fields division.

This field is not in bkpf or bseg, but it is in COBL.

How should one write a substitution for this field? (to help the user to fill the field with info from the invoice)

    Hi,

I'm using the COBL-KOSTL field for a CO substitution (trans. OKC9). It is a CO substitution, but it is called in an FI transaction (e.g. FB01). When the user doesn't fill the cost center, this substitution fills the cost center according to our internal rules.

    • Thanks Henri

That was one step ahead. I have tested it an I can also use a CO substitution to modify the cobl-kostl field when creating FI posting in F-28, but I have no luck with SPART, and actually the screen field is not COBL-SPART, but CE00001-SPART. SPART is found on a popup fields for "Assignment to profitability segment".

      any ideas?
