We appear to having difficulties with our SOAP adapter in XI 3.0.
I have searched through the forum, and most queries relate to SOAP Adapter being greyed out in adapterframework, but it is not even available in the list.
We do no have the Adapter Monitoring as an option in our runtime workbench, either. How can we add this?
Any thoughts gratefully received!
Hi Barry,
have you tried: http://server:port/mdt/amtServlet ?
this is the address of the adapter monitoring
the old address ( < sp4 as far as I remember) of the adapter monitor:
http://hostname:portnumber/AdapterFramework/monitor/monitor.jsp
regards,
michal

Thank you for your prompt response.
I have now tried that, but unfortunately was unsuccessful. I get an 404 error - page not found.
When I click and go to mdt/index.jsp the options available are: Message Monitoring, Security Achiving and Message Archiving.
We are on SP5 for XI 3.0 - if that makes a difference?
but have tried this path?
- open the Runtime Workbench start page
- choose Component Monitoring and select components with -- status all
- select the appropriate Adapter Engine
- click on the button Adapter Monitoring
what can you see if you try the second address from my post ?
regards,
michal
Michal,
From the 2nd address, I get the following list:
Server 0 0_31951
File is running. Status:
SAP XI Java Proxy Runtime is running. Status:
JMS is running. Status:
RFC is running. Status:
JDBC is running. Status:
But no SOAP adapter.
On your second note, I can follow upto selecting the Adapter Engine, but I don't get a button for adapter monitoring.
Options available are: Repeat Ping, Repeat Self-Test, Security Achiving & Message Archiving.
Thanks for all you answers/help in this matter.
Unforunately we haven't quite resolved the issue, but we have a SAP Consultant coming over in a couple of weeks to help install XI on a new cluster.
Hopefully, this can all be resolved before the consultant leaves.
Again, thanks for taking the time to assist me.
Regards
Barry

Hi Barry,
Try sending a test message thru the SOAP adapter and see it shows up in the Adapter monitor.
