Hi ,
how do u find the default style sheet used for the business explorer? We have tried the style sheets in MIME repository, but none seems to match. Any ideas. We want to change the style of a particular cell.
Thanks,
Kartheek
Hi Kartheek,
The styles are stored in the workbook. For each celltype a style template is created. You can see the templates in Excel by selecting a specific cell afterwards goto Format --> styles. In the list of styles you will see a lot of Styles beginning with SAPBEx..... If you modify the style each cell of the corresponding style will have the same modified style.
But remember that the changes only take effect on the current workbook. To make these changes available for all Queries you must set the workbook as default Workbook.
best regards.

hi Karthek,
to perform this step for each user is from my opinion not possible. Each user must perform this step. If every user could set the default, then settings from otjher users would be overwritten. You can only make it easier for the users to set the template. Save the Template workbook to special folder in a role. So each user can see and use the workbook.
best regards.

Hi Kartheek,
You would need to create a workbook template with all the settings (color, fonts etc) that you are looking for. This has to be set as the permanent workbook template. You also have to make the setting for each query to be embedded in this workbook template. Only then will each report carry the same settings.
If you supply your users with workbooks, then you can open up the query in this template, and save as workbook. the settings will remain in place. The users will also need to have this workbook template assigned to them via a role.
Hope this helps...
Hi Kartheek,
I don't think there is a central place where you can set the Permanent workbook template and then Query Embed into the workbook template, for all users at once. This one time setting has to be done in the user's BEx. Once this is done however, all queries will be run according to the formatting that you have set up in the workbook template.
Hope this helps...
Hi,
You mean the cascading style sheet used in the default BEx web template?

Hi Kartheek,
The "stylesheet" in BEx is actually what we call the workbook template. You can create a workbook template with all the custom changes (color, font) etc that you require, and then Insert your queries into it.
