Hi users,
We have this error in the macro builder and I see from other posts this is an ABAP error that is caused by the line wrap arounds. The problem is all of the macros have been created by dragging and dropping so no code has been written. We are using SCM 7.0 with SP9.
This error is stopping me from activating the macros at the planning book level. If I import the very same macro into one of the planning books data view, I can activate the macro without any changes.
This suggest to me there is an issue with the planning book itself. We had changed the TB profiles in the data views which I believe has caused this error. They have been changed back but the problem won't go away.
Does anyone know of anything to run that might fix this issue?
Is there any note that could be applied to help resolve this?
Thanks
Paul
Hi Paul,
Is there a possibility that your situation in certain planning view is causing the issue with activation at the planning book level? That is what I would think.
If you look at the following SDN thread, someone proposed that macros which could give outputs might give such kind of issues:
http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1594439
I think you could first try to individually activate the macro having issue in ALL the planning views under the planning book. That might help you in pinpointing the planning view that is having issue.
PS: I could not locate a relevant OSS for this topic.
Thanks - Pawan

Hi Pawan,
I can import the macros from the planning book (to planning view) and activate the macro at the data view level with no problems. The issue is not with the planning view but the planning book macros.
I've tried deleting the macro at the Pl Bk and importing from Pl. view but we still get the same error.
I had reviewd the thread you suggested as well but still not finding the answer I need.
We think the issue is with the Pl Bk, but not sure what.
Thanks
Paul
Hi Paul,
What I meant was - If you activate a macro at the planning book level, then it means that it should be possible to use the macro in ANY planning view of the planning book. So, may be your issue in activating the macro at planning book is linked to the fact that some planning view, your macro would not be able to successfully give an output.
If you have any macro like "OUTPUT_POPUP", then this could be place where depending on what information you were trying to pop-up, the size is not fitting in a single line.
How many planning views do you have? Is it possible for you to do a check for the macros at planning book level so that you are able to identify the macro which is giving the issue at planning book level?
Thanks - Pawan
