Mass user assignment to a group

We are migrating from a EP 5.0 to EP 6.0 on 6.40. I need to assign a few thousands users to a new group I have a created in the new portal. I do not see any standard functionality provided by the Portal. Any one have any ideas on how to import users into a group?
