SLD ** Fail of : Cimclient test , import cimsap.zip , WDynpro SLD connect

Hello,

I have problem(s) as mentioned above .

Prerequisite :

- NW 7.0 with AS JAVA, AS ABAP , local SLD at same host

- user for tests below is "SLDDSUSER"

- UME is handeled via ABAP , means SLDDSUSEr is existing there

- For SLDDSUSER there are assigned necessary J2EE roles,

mainly LcrAdministrator

Description

test 1 : sending data to SLD

Inside Visual Administrator

left window cluster, services, SLD Data Supplier )

right window : http settings, user : SLDDSUSER, appropriate adress settings for SLD,

doing "send", I get a success message "Data transfer successfully "

test 2 :

Ieft window same as above = SLD Data supplier etc ..

right window : tab " CIM CLient Generation settings", same SLD adress data and user

action "CIM CLient test" fails with error message "failed to generate and test CIMOMclient object"

test 3, inside SLD :

<host >: <port> / SLD , "Administration , "Import" of "cimsap.zip"

I get error message "Error during import .....failed to initialize cluster notification"

test 4 , inside Webdynpro :

<host>: <port > /webdynpro / welcome , "content administrator" , "Check SLD connection"

symptom ; hostname, port , SLDDSUsER are grey and pressing "Test connection" fails with

error message "Connection to ... SLD could not be opened successfully"

Now my question:

SLDDSUSEr has sufficient privileges

Visual Administrator and SLD are able to communicate via SLDDSUSER --> test1

Why fails test 2 , test 3, test 4 ?

Please advise me how to go further .

SAP Note 971 249 describes all steps for solving problem

thanks for your answer. But I solved the problem with

the help of the log at SLD and a hint at SDN.

Log of SLD has an error message that showed :

"JmsServer Security exception was thrown accessing

JMS ressources " was thrown. For that

SAP note 971 249 is applicable and solves all problems

After doing that I had imported free of error cimsap.zip etc,

cim client test is successfull as well SLD test connection in

WebDympro

It's as you said an authorization problem which has thrown

that Security exception

Hi,

Looks like an authorization issue. Could you please do CIM test again in visual admin and then check logs in default trace. Please also paste log here.
