Hi Manish,

if you want to use your RFC destination for sending messages from r/3 to XI

take a look at my weblog:

Hi Michal / Sridhar,

Thanks for your prompt response, Micheal I have read your weblog , I have just one query , you are writing program name as sdnweblog . In my case what will be the program id is it a name of software component or name of communication channel ?

Manish

Hi Manish,

Pgm id is an arbitrary name. You can have any name you want . but my suggestion is to keep is relevant, so that you will know what it is used for.

Also make sure you give the same "pgm id" name in the sender rfc adapter.

Sridhar

and in addition to what Sridhar said please remember

program id IS case sensitive:)

Hi Manish,

Refer to this URL:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6a/82343ecc7f892ee10000000a114084/frameset.htm

In the J2EE Engine Visual Administrator, choose Server--> Services --> JCo RFC Provider --> Runtime.

See "RFC destination" pane to enter the destinations parameters.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

Regards,

Sridhar
