Mass Reversal of Variance Calculation - KKS1

1726 Views

All,

In January 2012, we released standard prices which have been calculated using a new costing variant. One other costing variant had been used for the costing for the last 2 years - 2010/2011. Process orders were of course created during that period. They were set to TECO but never to close.

When we first ran KKS1 for period 1 year 2012, we saw that variances from old process orders from the years 2010 and 2011 were recalculated using the most recent cost estimate. This looked logical due to the customizing of the target cost version 0 which compares the actual costs VS Current Std Cost Estimate.

As a result, we wanted to reverse the variance calculation, close the old process orders from the years 2010/2011 and then recalculate the variance. The fact that the old orders would be set to CLSD would ensure that the variance would not impact them anymore.

The problem which we face is the following one: the Variance Calculation Reverse function is greyed out in the transaction KKS1. On the other hand, it is possible to reverse the variance per order using KKS2.

Did anyone ever experience this? And if so, how did you manage to reverse the variance calculation per plant using KKS1?

Thanks a lot for your help

Regards
