User mappings and network file system repositories

Hi,

Were trying to find a way around the need for our users to type in their network credentials in the user mapping section simply to access our network file system. As far as we can tell in order to access a network resource all users must specify a user mapping. The problem is, what happens when their credentials change (i.e., passwords) the user would be required to modify those settings. I believe we could use a user mapping for a group but we are trying to stay away from that method.

Does anyone know of a way around this?
