how to configure MRP?

Hi all,

Guys i need to configure MRP like MRP Group, MRP Type etc, though i found some in SPRO... i need to know the sequence how to configure it.

say should i configure MRP Group first or something else. what are the Pre-requisites to do so...

Please provide step by step suggestions.

Hi,

I would suggest to maintain the very basic settings like MRP type and MRP group first, I don'ts see the necessity of maintaining sequence between them.
After maintaining the MRP group, you can go to customization transaction OPPR to maintain the MRP group dependent settings.
