Portal Migration error at step 6 of 12 UM migration step

We are migrating from EP 6.0 SP2 to EP 6.0 NW04 SR1. When we run the portal migration tool, we receive the following error at step 6 of 12

User Management migration probably failed, found error inside the log file CJS-00301

The migration tool stops and prevents us from going any further. Has anyone found a way around this issue?

We figured it out. The migration tool tries to reach the Oracle database in the following format tnsping <Oracle SID>_<Server name>. Note 836768 solved our issue.

I the migration document, in section:

<b>3.1.3 Preparing for Migration with an Oracle Database</b>

You can find it written:

<b>The database instance aliases in TNSNAMES.ora must be entered according to the

following convention: <SID>_<hostname>, for example POR_ilsun31.</b>
