Job that fills Delta Queue for Generic Delta Enabled extractor

Hi All,

I have a situation where I have no access to execute the delta infopackage in BW system.

However, to check the delta mechanism working fine, I have to validate the data in the delta queue.

The extractor in question is generic with delta capability and driven by an FM.

Am I right if I go to this FM and just execute it ?

If no, suggest me the options.

Thanks & Regards,

Saurav

there will be no issue if you execute the FM....

you can also run RSA3 extractor check

Thank you both!

My intention is to find out if there is any job for generic delta extractor that runs in the background that populates the delta queue.

Kindly let me knw if you are aware.

Appreciate your help

Regards,

Saurav

the queue is not filled. pointers are saved at every delta run (you can see them in rsa7). whenever you run a delta it will retrieve the last timestamp and select data from whatever tables that have been created/changed after this previous delta timestamp.

there's no job (like for V3 LO cockpit). you can only test by actually running the delta infopackage (in rsa3)

to test the infopackage in the source system you can use rsa3. flag the checkbox 'delta'.

you can check the delta queue (and info about pointers) in rsa7.
