passing an entry in comp code GG01, TP GG01 shoudnt allowed , how?

Hi

Currently, system is allowing us to enter the TP (trading partner) same as Entity code while passing the entry. So, system should not allow us to enter the TP same as entity code ( for example, passing an entry in company code GG01, system should not allow us to enter trading partner as GG01) ?

You can put a validation TP should not same as company code, try in OB28 or GGB0.

any other way out, becoz we have 2 validations in place for line items

so one only can be in place at a time?, any thoughts

Or can we put at Docment Header level ?

Please deactivate Inter company postings & Enter trading partner fields for the document type and test.

In our scenario only one or two document types both have ticked (For ex SA)

1. Inter company code posting,

2. Enter trading partner

Removed 1.

, still able to

assign the same TP for the company code - sytem accepts the same TP

Hi

We can create N number of Validation without contradicting each other

So give us other two validations, so that we can analyse whether those are affecting or not

You have to go for Validations
