I can't use DTW, I have the error "OBServerDll.dll version is older than the DI API versione"

I try to reinstall the DI API

I try to delete the folder SM_OBS_DLL

SAP BUSINESS ONE 881 pl09

sqlexpress 2008

In this installation I can't run any addon.

Make sure your DTW version is compatible with your B1 version.

In this case, you may have a wrong file in the installation package. You need SAP or partner support.

To downgrade B1 is not an easy process. Basically you have to reset everything and you need to have a good backup db compatible with the old version.

This problem is started after I have uninstall SAP Business One PL10 and I have install SAP Business One 881 PL09.

I have uninstall all the component. I delete the SBO-COMMON. After I install the 881 PL04 and then I upgrade to 881 PL09.

I have to check something?

When you upgrade to 881 PL09 from PL04, you may still have PL04 dll somewhere. Check them out fully.

Search all registration key that related to B1.

I installed the DTW from the package of PL04.

In DTW now the version is

version 88.1.77

but the API Version is 8.81.319.0

In C:\Programmi\SAP\SAP Business One DI API\DI API 88

I found SAPbobsCOM88.dll

Right click on the file, properties and the version is 8.81.319.

This is the problem?

In this case, only PL04 works if you can back to that PL.

I replaced the SAPbobsCOM88.dll by one that I have found in a pc where is install version 8.81 pl09.

All the problems are solved.
