Hi Veda,

In the update rule or in BEx; if you do it in the update rule then you lose the information on the original currency. Also, translation key defines how exchange rate is calculated; the target currency can be fixed or can be determined at the time of transaction. The function module to convert currency is :- RSW_CURRENCY_TRANSLATION.

The steps, to load exchange information from R/3 to BW simply AWB --> Source System --> right click on the R.3 Source System --> Select transfer rates.

Finally to upload currency exchane from a flat file:-

1) The file must have structure as TCURR table including exchange range type, from currency, to currency, valid from date, exchange rate, Ratio

2)Once the file is ready go to AWB, Source System, select the file system, right click and select Transfer exchange rate.

The routine HR_ECM_CONVERT_CURRENCY will help you to easily translate one amount from Curr1 to Curr2

Hi Veda

You have deleted the Transfer routine in which system, i mean DEV,QA or PRD. May be you can get the Transfer routine from other system like if u hve deleted from DEV then u cn get from QA or Production system. Then you will have to transport this changes to QA and PRD also. And if you have delted in QA or PRD then i think(m nt sure) if you create the transport request from DEV and transport the same. That will move the changes.

If there is any other way to get back the deleted one, then i will also like to know.

Sorry Veda i dont know how can u fix ur problem, so i didnt get back to ur post, may be some body else can help you in that. There are many experts in this who can answer your query.

I saw your new post for same topic, but i would suggest you not use Hi as ur subject line. That will not attract any body to peep in to the post. Good subject is very important.
