Solman 7.1 EWA

Dear Experts,

We have Solution Manager system 7.1 and I have done Preparation, Basic Settings and Managed system settings.

After all these , I am able to see the EWA report for Solman system via workcenter , but the other managed systems are not appearing even in the list. I had completed RTCCTOOL etc in both Solman and Managed systems. Do I have to proceed manual steps(SDCCN and all) in 7.1 to get the reports of managed system ? Please advice

Regards

Hi,

You have to create logical components for your managed system, this can be done from SMSY.

Next goto the work center System Monitoring -> Setup. Here create a new solution and assign the above created logical component to the Solution via Maintain solution.

Next, create the EWA Session from the reports section in the same work center.

Steps after this are in the below link:

Hi

Donw forget to activate SDCCN

Tz - sdccn - utilities - activate

for EWA you can create EWA for solution and for each system

you can check this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZztlF0kLBAE&feature=BFa&list=PL061EFF769108645A&lf=mh_lolz

to create EWA for solution go in work center to Solution manager administration - - solution - operation setup

or work center - system monitoring - reports

did you check in SDCCN - task specific in the managed system if you have RFC connection to solution manager 7.1

Best regards

Hello,

Do you mean you cannot see EWA reports for systems that already had EWA generated, or is this a new Install?

I notice in Workcenters in 7.1 it displays the EWA not by SID but by Session Number.

In the selection criteria there is a field CONTEXT, here you can select the SID, so this is an easy way to check for EWAs for any SID. Perhaps it is already set to your Solution Manager system so it is filtering out all other SID's in the Solution.

But take a close look at your filters for selection criteria. It may be specifiying a value that is filtering ou thte other EWAs.
