Hi,
I am having a problem with message exchange in a new install of XI and from the runtime workbench it is clear that the issue is that the URL for IS is incorrect. I guess this is created during (post?) install from a parameter that was entered at the time (obviously incorrectly).
Specifically, in the the url: http://<myhost>:<myport>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
the value of <myhost> is wrong.
Does anyone know where this is set and how I can fix? I have tried searching all over but with no joy (not helped by the fact that it seems like sdn and oss note searches treat "is-url" to be "is" AND "url"!!).
Cheers,
Chris
Chris,
I believe you should be able to change it once you are logged into the SLD. In the SLD you can select the business system for IS and change the pipeline url to the correct one. You have to restart J2EE and should work.

Thanks!
That fixed the problem... one question though, I don't recall setting that value at any point so I assume the url was constructed from other values... do you think that the fact that it is wrong means that some other value is wrong and could cause future problems?
Many thanks,
Chris
Sorry - just checked the config guide and obviously did set the pipeline URL directly.. so nothing else to worry about.. thanks again.
