Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to handle the stock transfer of Finished Goods from one excisable (manufacturing) plant to another excisable (manufacturing) plant in SAP CIN?
If yes, can you please advise the steps?
Looking forward to your expert advise.
Regards,
Amit
Hi,
1. Create STO
2. Do OBD and PGI
3. Billing
4. Create excise at sending plant
5. Do MIGo at receiving plant with OBD
6. Capture and post EI wrt the one created at sending plant

Brinda

Hi all,
First thing the receiving plant is NOT a Depot here. It is a manufacturing plant.
Actually the customer is setting up a new factory (manufacturing plant). After this new plant starts its operations, they want to move the Finished Goods from the existing (old) manufacturing plant to the new manufacturing plant.
(Both the plants are located at different physical locations and fall under different exicse commissionerate. New plant has separate exsice registration number).
Actually this movement of Finish Goods stock from old plant to new plant is going to happen only once (i.e. it is not going to normal business process).
Is there a solution for this process in std CIN?
Thanks,
Amit
hi
i am not expert , based on my knowledge, you can send to the material for one plant to another plant
first you create the normal sale order _ like zsto, with out tax , after create the delivery , billing (f2), and excise invoice , this for trance fer the material for another plant , j1iin will capture.
after receiving plant can do the migo , this migo movement type y56 , goods receipt for others , here you enter the material and quantity , where you can send , receiving plant and storage location , account assignment all data you maintain ,
after you can do the J1IG for excise capture , when its completed stock will comes receiving plant ,
after receiving plant can do the sales
YOU can maintain the cin setting as for normal settings receiving plant settings excise group and serious group , plant settings you can maintain , in excise group settings , you active depot settings ,
please check this
hi
prasanna
you reply is stranded process of plant to plant trance fer . in this process you can create proforma invoice , here their is no accounting generated,
in My process company they do the sto ,it totally deference , first creating sale order , delivery, invoice (f2), j1iin.
here you create the accounting postings , so fi document entry s it will possible, so accounting will satisfy ,
this for can do the branch trance fer and plant to plant stock trance fer ,
in branch trance fer for depot process, here its for trading
va01-vl01n-vf01(f2)-j1iin, after migo( movement type, y56), j1ig capture
depot sales
va01-vl01n-j1ij-vf01
plant to plant
va01-vl01n-vf01(f2)-j1iin after migo
here you can not capture the excise invoice after migo , because it is plant to plant , you maintain the different excise registration, excise group and serious groups , you maintain
this is for my company process , my can not use the sto stranded process
Hi
You can follow the STO process for Depot.
But before you decide on what process to map, please confirm from the user as what are relevant registers they are maintaining for such scenario.
Because of you will try to use the depot process the RG23D register will be updated for the excise entries.
As of my understanding for Manufactuing Unit RG1 register is required to be maintianed. So please check as what register entries they required to flow.
Thanks

[Re: Creation of excise invoice at depot with A-certificate |http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1569540]
Check the Above link, Mr.G. Lakshmipathi has explained clearly how depot will work in excise point of view step by step

Destination plant which is a manufacturing unit should be considered as DEPOT to capture RG23D entry.
In that there should be 2 Plants:
1. Manufacturing Plant
2. Depot
Then follow the std STO process with CIN.
I hope this will suffice.
