Printing issue while releasing the operation

Dear Expert,

I have release the operation in production order and when i do "print" from production order , that time get the following error

" START_FORM is invalid, OPEN_FORM is missing "

Please help me in resolve the error.

dera friend,

you can run SE71 and check out these forms.

fix them if needed,

also run OPK8 and adjust your settings - look at "Reference order types" - Forms (for your list).

find out your list and check out which SAPscript Form is set up - make sure it exists (run SE71) and nothing is missed...

check all in DEV, test it and move to QA, PRD

Hi,

Check the Print Control customizing for shop floor control.

Go to IMG - Production -> Shop Floor Control -> Operations -> Define Print Control

Contact you ABAP team and tell them to check the printout program.

In Se71 i am getting the error as Form PSFC_DOC_LINKS language EN is not available in client 800

As far as i know the forms are available initially/only in client 000. You need to import them into your client 800 (as in your message).

From SE71 initial screen enter the form name and language EN.

Click on Utilities(M)-->Copy from client.

Give the form name, Source client (defaulted to 000), specify the target form (same as in form name).And execute.

Then from SE71 again when you click on display you should be able to see the status as Active-saved.And you should not get the mesage that you previously saw.

Contrary to the expectation that we need a individual form for every list as in OPK8, the single form PSFC_PRINT_LAY should serve the purpose.(in the Forms details of OPK8).

You can also try this with a single form to see if it prints all data that you required.

Only the print programs need to be different and appropriate.

Please check if your issue is sorted out.

Yes UKSAPPP,

This problem has been solved but still the following error is coming after clicking print and saving the production order.

Start_form is invalid, open form is missing.

I want the print preview to see it. Please reply.

Use the program PPCO85EI to see the print program and what form it's trying to call.

Problem got solved by going to OPK8, In reference order type -

---

> Printer specification---->output device was changed to 01 from 02 and then output device was named as LP01

This made my problem solved. Very thanks to all specially to UKSAPPP
