KP06 Planning profile using Excel integration

Hi There,

I wanted to set up Excel planning profile for KP06.

Can anyone tell me How to configure it setp by step ?

Hello-

It involves two steps. First is to create a planning layout and next one would be to have a planning profile.

You can create planning layout using transaction KP65. Here you create a layout which will be similar to excel file format. This should match your excel so that you can upload later.

Next, create a planner profile (SPRO -> CONTROLLING -> COST CENTER ACCOUNTING ->PLANNING -> MANUAL PLANNING ->DEFINE USER DEFINED PLANNING PROFILES) and include this newly created planning layout under planning area "Cost ctrs: Cost element/activity inputs". Make sure to check the box "Integrated excel" .

By doing this you will be able to enter or display planning data in Excel.

Hi Shail,

It's well explained but KP65 i think it's a report painter.

Is there any other way to define layouts.. Cuz i am not good at Kp65.

Hi Shail,

I think you suggestio solved my problem.

But do you know how can i add cost center field in Report.

I am copying exsiting one 1-101 in to my custom report but it has activity field.

I changed it to cost center and put filed KSGRU, but when i try to run in Kp06 it says put correct activity values.

can you please give me a suggestion on that one ?
