Price of WAS 6.40 Java?

Hi Experts-

Can anyone inform me of the licensing model for SAP WAS 6.40 Java?

What is the per named-user price of a license? Which other SAP licenses cover that software? What are other pricing variants on it?

I don't need something very specific, just a ballpark estimate from someone at an oganization that might have purchased/acquired it from SAP.

Hi Expert!

Well this morning I asked the same question for my private laptop installation in the other WAS forum - my licence has just run out in the middle of programming, and I need an extension.

I got no answer so I've just faxed Walldorf to ask.

Trouble is, it takes me more than 90 days to install and get the Chapter 3 example in the book "Java Programming with the SAP Web Application Server" to work fully, let alone get some serious expertise.

And theres a limit how much time and hardware I can invest as freelancer.
