Automatically have capital letters in purchase order text

We would like the letters displayed in the text entries on purchase orders to be capitals. Is there an easy way or a flag that can be set so the text is displayed with capital letters even if the user doesn't enter it with capital letters. A user enters text in the item text field when creating a purchase requisition. How can this be changed to capital letters automatically when the corresponding purchase order is created?
