hi All,
Is setup table involved in filling of master data?
say for Example 0VENDOR.
for a particular Vendor no i am not getting the Vendor family ID value in BI that is coming from SORT2 field from ECC.
for other vendor nos it is working fine. Please suggest what could be the reason.
another issue is it is getting data in full update mode into BI but i cant see data in PSA for that particular vendor NO.
Please Help.
Thank you.
hi Siva and Durgesh,

Hi Max,
Setup tables are used only in case of LO transaction data sources and no master data needs setup table.
Just check if you have the particular fields value available in source system and then check the data load (PSA records).
Or you can do a reload as master data is always loaded in overwrite mode.

Durgesh.

Hi Max,
first check in source system by using rsa3.
if you didnt find the vendor number there. check the base tables of this Datasource. You can this table information from the FM FM MDEX_VENDOR_MD .
LFA1
LFB1
LFM1
there is no need of any setup table fill for this datasource.

hi Siva,
thanks for responding and what you suggested i have checked that. i am able to see the required data in the tables.
what we are doing is that in LFA1 table for a particular vendor no i am getting the address no and using that address no i am getting the value for SORT2 field in ADRC table.
the particular vendor no is not extracted into RSA3 for 0vendor_attr DS.
what could be the possible reason.
thanks,
Max
