BPC Client Install on Windows 7 64 bit

Dear Experts,

Can anyone please help with a BPC client install on windows 7 64 bit machines running IE 9 and Office 2003 SP3.

We are running BPC v 7.5 SP5 MS and trying to install BPC on new machines, which are being built as 64 bit only now, but get message "Installation Incomplete" during client installation.

I found a SAP Note confirming an issue around the ActiveX controls but these did prompt eventually and seemed to run ok.

One forum post I read, from March last year, said that "ActiveX controls were 32 bit only and SAP don't support the use of 64 bit IE, you must use the 32 bit version"

Can anyone confirm if this is still the case please ? Do we have to use the 32 bit version of IE ?

Thanks

Nicola

Thank You Roberto, I found this SAP note just after posting my message!

Can you confirm if the standard ActiveX/ CAB files that download from the Client Software Centre work ok on windows 7 64 bit with IE 8 ?

Thanks Again
