Unable to do clearing with archieved docuement

Hi Experts,

We have have number of documents created for the year 2003 and 2004

The document pertaining to 2003 has been archieved and we are unable to perform clearing and the balance is still appearing open in the GL account.

Can any one guide us as to how do we retreive and clear the alreday archived document with that of the dcouments in the year 2004.
