Dump while creating two envelope bidding through BID/BIDX (C-folder error)

Dear Friends,

We are doing configuration of extended RFx bidding process in SRM 7.01 system.

While creating the RFx for 2 envelope bidding through transaction type BID/BIDX we are getting dump.

It seems C-folder configuration is not done properly.

I am using the below link for C-folder configuraition. We user a different ABAP system as C-folder system.

Prerequisites

You have maintained the correct URL destination for the attribute ITS_DEST in transaction ppoma_bbp.

What URL to be maintained for the attribute ITS_DEST. As in SRM 7.01 ITS is not used it it still required?

The link also says

You must also make sure that the service BBP_CFOLDERS is activated. You can find this service in the tree structure under default_host -sap - bc - gui - sap - its - bbp_cfolder.

For me BBP_CFOLDER service is not at all available in SICF.

Please help me how to get the service BBP_CFOLDER in the transaction SICF?

A quick response is highly appreciated.

Dear Rahul,

Thank you so much for your reply.

The issue was resolved with note 1555062. It was a manual implementaion.

Regarding the issue of BBC_CFOLDERS service which should be active before CFx_RFC_UI should work properly, for our case CFx_RFC_UI is working even BBC_CFOLDERS service is not there at all.

Anyway the issue is resolved now.

Hello Malay,

Check for the below pointers to troubleshoot your issue here after you are done with the configurations as per the help link.

-->If the cfolder is installed on the same SRM server then you need to maintain the c folder service "cfx_rfc_ui" with "required with logon data", default setup is standard logon, to be used if the c-folder is on separate server. As in your case its installed on the separate server , ensure that the user creating the c -folder exists in both the system with the necessary roles.

--> Ensure that your RFC user's and the fucntional users has the appropriate roles assigned.

SAP_CFX_COMP_CREATOR & SAP_CFX_USER.

--> Also ensure that the system landscape definition is correctly maintained with regards to the c-folders in both SRM and SUS clients.

--> IF you are trying to execute the two envelope bidding here in the sourcing with Bid - decoupling scenario. Ensure that you have defined the RFX transaction type appropriately in both SRM and SUS system.

--> Also check SAP Note : 962350 and recheck the logon details for the External aliases you have created here.

--> Ensure that you activated the service cfx_rfc_ui : Collaboration Folder Extension: Request for Comment UI , in both SRM and SUS system. and the logon data for the same is maintained correctly.
