hi masters

can it is possible we can configure the standard reports

actually client wants a report of equipment list with location of the equipment and sub equipment

client do not want the superior equipment, i t wants the report should show the list of equipment with their location and sub equipment

kindly give the solution for this

Hi Pankaj,

I guess IH01 is the best Report Suited to your Requirement.

Please check the same and confirm back.

thanx for the response on my thareat

the IH01 is good but actually i not assigned a fuction location to the equipment my equipment is a fleet equipment and for the current location of the truck i am using the one o f the field of equipment master data. Now it is seems to be difficult to gather the equipment hierarchi and the field which i am using to display the current location.

actually i am using the class vehicle and attached characteristic current location, prerious location, and next location

the IE07 can help the displaying this information but not sub equipment

i am continous trying to find the way but........

Use standard Report IH08 with selection criteria class & valuation where you can specify the value of the characteristics.

However i would say that you should have mapped it through simple Functional location(location of vehicle), equipment (vehicle it self) & subequipment(X-ray m/c etc.) so that you would have got this report in standard.

Hi Pankaj,

As far as I know, there is no Standard Table that holds the record for the Sub Equipment, as the no of Equipment within an Equipment can be huge in no.

but your Standard Equipment Table ITOB-HEQUI or EQUZ-HEQUI, can give you the detail of the Superior Tables.

you shou ru=ight the logic in such a way that for any Equipment Ni the system should check for the same in the Complete Equipment Data Base and bring in all the Equipment No where Similar HEQUI is found.

the same logic is followed in the system when you go for the Navigation in the IH01, you can take the help from the ABAPER and use the same Functional Module being used in IH01 for searching the Sub-Equipments.
