Dates in a Service Order

Hi folks ,

Need some help here...

Can anyone tell me where is Schedule Fin date populated from in a service order.

It is populated automatically and I have no idea where its coming from .

Moreoever I need to change it and its greyed out.

So question is now...

where is this date populted from and

How do I change it .

My service order is attached to a work center , functional loc and notification

but still i have no idea where this dates are from .

What does this date do ? Meaning whats the impact ? My customer is worried as the service order is not complete and th actual finish will only be later in the month.

He wants to change the schedule finish date but i dont think its necessary .

Can you advise me a bit more ..as I have no idea what this date do ...

I guess it has something to do with the operations as I see its changes there in the Dates ...

Scheduled finish dates are indication of when you are able to complete the order given the availability of resource & time required to do it. Irrespective of this dates you can able to confirm operations as per actual dates as per your requirement & you get the actual end date of your order.

Moreover as you said its not required to change the schedule finish date as its not going to influence any of your actual date.

if you dont want this date to be changed then dont use the scheduling feature of order (dont maintain capacity in your worcenter & dont use control key with scheduling)

This is dependent upon your Scheduling Parameter settings in the IMG.

Have a look at the start/end dates/times of your operations.

It seems you are using workcenter with capcity & working times maintained, & its assigned to the opration. You also maintained the duration & no of persons required for each opeartions. So when you schedule the order (if you are using forward scheduling time), system calculates the schedule finish date. It is the standard feature.
