How to validate entry in a custom tab, with a field in another tab for CO01

For an enhancement in TCODE CO01.

I created a custom tab,where i will pass Customer Plant Name,

and in another tab of the same tcode i need to validate based upon the

entry in field (Customer plant name) .

can any1 through some light.
