CIM instance does not match any known technical system type

Hi Experts,

We have done Technical upgrade of XI 3.0 system to PI 7.3. After upgradation when I go to SLD and Click on business system it will show the Technical system. When I click on Technical system it throw an eorr message

"No details available for system 0000_*****_PRD on arboprd; CIM instance does not match any known technical system type"

I am not able to view the Technical system(TS) details from Business system even though TS exist in SLD.

Please let me know why this error is coming....

I found an SAP note 0001677557 which need to be implement

hi,

just register the technical system one more time - RZ70 from ABAP

or if you need a new technical system for PI then there are a few more steps

but this is the easiest way - you don't need to remove the old one - just register once more and see if it gets updated

or is a new one created

Hi Michal,

In the old system we have 50 third party business system and their associated Technical system. After technical upgrade if I choose any Third party BS in SLD and then I choose Intergration tab on business system and If click on Technical system on the intergartion tab it is throwing error.

"No details available for system 0000_AGENDA_DEV on www; CIM instance does not match any known technical system type "

How can i re-register third party technical system? Please help me..

Michal,

I found SAP Note 1677557 which has to be implemented in our system. Which says we need to upgrade the 7.30 to SP 8.0.

currently we are in the SP level 5. Will there be any impact on the system if we upgrade it to from SP5 to SP8. Please let me know.
